Managing Director
Liam is a Managing Director in Reilly Partners’ Chicago office. Since entering the executive search business in 1995 Liam has been working with clients to successfully manage officer-level search assignments in the insurance, broker/dealer, asset management and broader financial services industries.
Liam's functional expertise is broad and includes back office operations (new business administration, underwriting, technology, claims, customer service, HR, legal and compliance); finance (including audit and risk advisory services); distribution (career, brokerage and other independent channels); marketing and actuarial. His expertise has been built over the years by successfully executing assignments for some of the top financial services companies and related professional services firms in the industry.
Prior to joining Reilly Partners, Liam spent over 13 years with Heidrick & Struggles (and predecessor firms) where he focused his practice within the insurance and broader financial services industries.
Prior to entering executive search in 1995, Liam was a sales & marketing consultant with UNUM where he gained firsthand experience working in the insurance and employee benefits industry.
Liam earned a bachelor's degree in English and Philosophy from Marquette University.
He along with his wife Maureen and their four children live in suburban Chicago.
