Dan serves as Managing Director of Reilly Partners. He joined the firm in 2011.

Dan Scales is a senior food industry executive with significant P&L experience and a proven history as a strategic change management leader. He has consistently integrated business strategies with record sales and profits at Fortune 500 companies (Campbell Soup Company, Pillsbury, Sara Lee) private equity and family-owned food and beverage companies.

Most recently, Dan served as the Chief Executive Officer of a privately held multimillion dollar frozen food manufacturer focused on value-added private label and co-manufactured products for the food service and retail industries. He was also past president of a Private Equity owned $300 million bakery manufacturer servicing both the foodservice and in-store bakery channels where he managed the company through two ownerships and two sales.

Dan has a proven results record and expertise in turn-around situations. He has led companies through mergers, roll-up integrations, acquisitions, spin-offs and breakups, working closely with private equity partners to effectively manage the change process within diverse corporate environments and successfully delivering significant monetary value to stakeholders. Over the years he has become known for his ability to build high-performance teams across multi-functional organizations, strong employee retention, and continuously improving customer satisfaction.

He is one of the leading executives within the Food Manufacturing industry having served as an Executive Committee and Board Member for the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and Board Member of the International Foodservice Manufacturing Association (IFMA).

Dan earned his B.A. degree in business from Sienna College, and his Masters Degree in business management from Lesley University.

Dan is married with 2 children.
