Steven W. Schroeder serves as Managing Director of Reilly Partners in our Chicago Office.

Steve is a senior international management executive with over twenty (20) years of experience in recruiting management talent to the industrial products and manufacturing technology sectors.

Steve’s extensive global experience in capital equipment/tooling, automotive, industrial automation, electronics, medical, wholesale, mechanical/industrial engineering, job shop manufacturing, aftermarket parts/service … and many other segments of diversified manufacturing, makes him uniquely qualified to understand the management complexities and leadership traits required to meet the challenges of highly competitive industries and volatile economic pressures.

In the course of his career, Steve has built profitable new business start-ups, strategic alliances, joint ventures, equity acquisitions, turnarounds and complete organizational restructuring. Whether challenged to build presence in new markets, lead global sales / manufacturing / engineering/ service organizations in highly competitive environments or create strategic sales/marketing programs to deliver rapid growth, Steve has consistently delivered strong results. He held divisional and corporate positions with Navistar, Baxter, Komatsu, Muller Weingarten, among other industry leading national/international industrial manufacturing and distribution companies … from VP Sales and Marketing to full P&L responsibility as President/CEO. Steve extends even further value to his clients through his comprehensive knowledge of North American, European, and Asian business cultures … truly bringing a multi-disciplinary approach to each of his executive recruiting engagements.

Prior to joining Reilly Partners, Steve was a Partner with Moriarty/Fox Inc., a well respected executive search consulting firm based in Chicago.

Steve holds an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School, a BS in Management from Northern Illinois University, studied Architecture/Engineering at University of Illinois, and is a recent ASQ-Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. He sits on the board for (2) Social Media start-up companies where he is responsible for new business development, strategic planning, capital funding and company launch. Steve also volunteers as coach/mentor for unemployed C-level executives helping them to improve their social networking skills, increase personal brand awareness, and stimulate their executive job search effectiveness.

Steve is married with 3 children.
